INTRODUCTION
One of the strongest and indispensable pillars of KICC is the praise and worship
with good music. Our worship/music is contemporary and marked by a style
of creativity, innovative skill and inventive imagination, while encapsulated in the
ministration of spiritually captivating sounds of harmonious singing and tuneful
instrumentation with unmistakable message of the gospel of Jesus.
VISION
As a choir, our raison d’être is to build KICC’s music ministry in line with the
vision of the visionary of the house, Pastor Matthew, and effectively enhance
his ministry to the nations. This we hope to achieve by focusing on worship
as our primary and ultimate assignment – because it is the very purpose for
our existence.
GOALS
Through praise and worship, we aim to stir up the spiritual zeal and passion of
God’s people, while pointing and leading the world to our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ through the ministry of music and singing. The choir, being a pivotal part of
the KICC Music Department, serves as a conduit for achieving this divine goal.
It is our objective to develop and maintain a high level of spiritual understanding and
anointing in the choir by constantly praying and sharing the Word.
We desire, seek and work to ensure that the choir as brethren in Christ will dwell
together in Godly unity as admonished in Psalm 133:1. This we intend to achieve by
creating an atmosphere of family and fellowship in the choir’s operating environment.
Ultimately, it is our goal to raise the standard and quality of worship/music in KICC
to be commensurate with the Spirit of excellence the ministry operates.
