Introduction
Purpose of the course and how it works
This Bible Investigation Course is based on the Gospel of John. It is designed to help a new believer to grow in the grace of God.
The course comprises six lessons and it will help you discover facts from God’s Word which you need to live life at its fullest. You will gain insight into the mind of God, increase your knowledge of His will and learn more of His plan for your life.
To get the most out of this course, you will need a Bible, a note book and pen. Most of all, you will need to be able to concentrate while studying each lesson. With each question, you will need to look up the Bible reference from the Gospel of John in the New Testament. You are required to think over what the verse means until you understand it; then complete the task in each question. Use only the references given to answer the questions.
There are two aspects to each lesson – multiple choice questions and a practical requirement section. To pass the lesson, both parts must be completed.
Below are some of the objectives that will be achieved at the end of each lesson.
Lesson 1 – New Life
This lesson deals with the New Life. By the end of the lesson you should be assured of your salvation. If you have not yielded your life to Jesus Christ you will be given the opportunity to receive Him into your life.
Lesson 2 – Jesus Christ, The LORD
In this lesson you will learn some of the things Jesus actually said about Himself and His relationship to the Father, what other said about Him and how we may know for sure that we have eternal life.
Lesson 3 – Abundant life
You will be taught how to experience abundant life
Lesson 4 – The Disciple
This study will help you to find God’s will for your life in discipling men for Christ.
Lesson 5 – Claiming the Promises
This study looks at some of the promises of God in the book of John and how they can be claimed by faith.
Lesson 6 – Meditation
You will learn the art of biblical meditation which is one of the neglected aspects of the Christian walk.
Results
After each lesson, computer generated results will be provided for the multiple choice questions. The computer will allow you to re-visit any wrong answer once and after that it will provide you with the correct answer.
Once you have passed and completed each lesson, the computer will provide you access to the next lesson. Note that you will not be allowed to move to the next lesson until you have completed the previous one.
On successful completion of the course, a certificate of completion can be requested.
